  • Grip the Trigger Trainer with a firm grip, making sure the index finger clears the stock. This will work for a one-handed or two-handed grip.
  • Place the middle of the first pad of the index finger on the trigger. If necessary, until you're stronger, you can do this with the first joint of the index finger.
  • Moving only the index finger, exert smooth, uninterrupted, and even pressure on the trigger. Pull straight to the rear. Pause and then allow the trigger to return to its full forward position and repeat the process.
  • The pressure applied on the trigger must come from independent movement of the index finger only! The pressure on the grip should remain constant'do not move or tighten the gripping fingers or thumb.
  • Perform 4 sets of 20 reps.
  • As your strength increases, adjust the weight of the trigger pull.

Customer Comments:

"As a person who is a complete novice shooter (before my training class, I had never held a gun, let alone shot one), I used the Trigger Trainer ahead of going to the range for practice. What I liked most about the product was having an idea of what pulling a trigger was like (and the amount of pressure needed, which I never understood varied) for the .40 caliber pistol we were using ahead of actual shooting. I can't speak for experienced shooters, simply because I am not one, but I certainly recommend it as a training device for newbies." JLW
