Women have the advantage when it comes to conceal and carry handgun holsters. I think that a bra holster is an easy way to begin carrying a concealed gun. The thought of a handgun holster at my waist, was a bit overwhelming. The bra gun holster was the answer. I could bend, sit, shop, work, whatever--my concealed gun was not in my way.

Lisa Looper created the Flashbang Bra Holster. This molded plastic concealed carry bra gun holster works with any outfit.

The Flashbang pistol holster is designed to be very comfortable to wear. And, handgun safety is supreme. The molded plastic clam-shell design actually covers the slide and the trigger of the concealed gun! The only part that is not inside this handgun holster is the grip. How to wear the bra holster: The Flashbang gun holster tucks up underneath the bra band where it stays securely in place by both the band of the bra itself and a soft suede strap that snaps around the center portion of the bra between the cups. The open bottom design of the handgun holster for women allows the concealed weapon to be drawn simply by pulling straight down on the grip of the concealed gun while the suede strap keeps the pistol holster snugly attached to the bra. A note from the designer: If your Flashbang gun holster is HANGING from your bra by the suede strap then it isn't as secure and comfortable as it could be. Try rotating the suede strap 180 degrees so that concealed gun sits in the high carry position. For the most part, the strap length doesn't matter. It's all about positioning this handgun concealment holster correctly. The strap isn't EVER for holding a Flashbang gun holster in position. The main reason for the strap is to keep the concealed carry holster from coming out, when your concealed gun is drawn.

Included with your Flashbang bra holster are three straps of various lengths (3.5, 5, 8.5 inches) to accommodate a majority of bras and bust sizes. Each leather strap has a 'directional snap' that allows the user to quickly attach or remove the bra holster, but prevents the gun holster from being forcibly removed or knocked loose accidentally. Because the concealed gun actually rests mostly inside the bra cup, the only portion that is visible is the grip. This makes the gun extremely concealed, while offering maximum comfort, personal protection, gun safety, and peace of mind!

The Draw and The Name

If a woman needs to draw her concealed gun, with her weak-side hand, she lifts the hem of her shirt, to expose the grip of her concealed handgun. Then, with her shooting hand, she can pull straight down on her concealed gun. This two-step draw, first presents the attacker with the “Flash” distraction, which allows the woman to utilize her defensive weapon, “Bang”!
